  11. This version has the following changes over version 1.5 (the last major
  12. release):
  13.  
  14. 1) There is a new Sort function - sort by size, date, extension, name
  15. 2) There is a new Reverse function - reverses sort order
  16. 3) Will use whatever screen colors were current on startup.  If you
  17.     use ANSI.SYS to change your default colors, DD will use them.
  18. 4) Move is much more powerful, and easier to use.  It subsumes the old
  19.     Rename function, which has been eliminated.]
  20. 5) The two directories are compared, and files with identical entries
  21.     are marked with a vertical bar.  Files with the same name but 
  22.     differing in other aspects are marked with a horizontal bar.
  23. 6) The input handling (where you are prompted for filenames) is now much
  24.     better.  Pressing Esc will cancel any input function.  Unfortunately,
  25.     DOS command line enhancers (like DOSEDIT) are now bypassed.  As 
  26.     partial compensation, F3, PgUp, and UpArrow all recall the previous
  27.     command line for editing.
  28. 7) The EGA mode is not reset to 25 lines on exit unless it was 25 lines
  29.     on entry.
  30. 8) The cursor behaves itself better.  It is still not perfect (alas).
  31. 9) Various cosmetic changes - the menu is in reverse video, etc.

  33. * Other goodies to enhance DoubleDir performance (not required) --

  35. ANSI43.SYS    An ANSI driver to support the EGA in 43-line mode.  All
  36.         DOS functions (including CLS) support 43 lines when this 
  37.         driver is used.
  38. 25.COM        puts EGA in 25-line mode
  39. 43.COM        puts EGA in 43-line mode

  42. This archive may be distributed freely, but please keep all the above files
  43. intact.  Distribute it as DD20.ARC to distinguish it from older    versions.
